Rear Extension and New Kitchen, Brondesbury Road

Extension & New Kitchen

Overview

Brief:

Our clients simply needed more space downstairs. They wanted extra space with a breakfast bar in their kitchen.

Survey:

Our clients didn’t want to use up too much space in their garden, so it didn’t need to be a huge extension. The large trees in the garden meant creating natural light would need to be a priority.

Process

Installing French bi-folding doors and Velux windows created plenty of natural light to give the kitchen a light, airy atmosphere.

Over 50-man hours went into producing the bespoke worktops and kitchen units. The high-gloss finish to the kitchen unit doors was well complemented by the light oak flooring. With fresh white walls and overhead spotlights, the kitchen feels bright and clean all year round.

Integrated appliances, overhead microwave and the breakfast bar help to create more space to the kitchen. Meaning mealtimes are stress-free and enjoyable.

Our clients love the bi-folding doors because when they’re fully open it feels like they’re at one with their garden. And the low-maintenance, spacious kitchen has transformed their mealtimes.
